Description |
Smallest of the available warp
shuttles, introduced in the middle 24th century as a short-distance personal transport
ship used on starbases and starships of the Federation. In functionality, the type 6
shuttle is very similiar to the type 7.The maximum amount of passengers on a type 6 craft
is six passengers, besides a two-person flight crew. On diplomatic missions, the
number of passengers is reduced to two. Starting from the 2370s, the type 6 shuttle
became a widely-used craft, but currently they are partly replaced by the very similiar,
but higher performance type 8 shuttles. |
