| Description |
The type 7 is one of the largest
warp shuttles presently available, introduced in the middle 24th century. In terms
of functionality, it is very similar to the smaller type 6 shuttles. The type 7
shuttles was built as a short-range personal transport ship to be used on starbases and
starships of the Federation. In these shuttles, there is enough space for up to six
passengers and a two-person flight crew. On diplomatic missions, the number of
passengers is reduced to two. |
